AllStar Security Group and all of our officers are in compliance with all licensing rules and regulations of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Texas Private Security Bureau (PSB). Each Level III Officer is required by the State of Texas to complete a week-long certification class. Officers must renew their licenses every two years by completing six hours of continuing education and show firearm proficiency with the firearm the officer uses while on duty. This includes handguns, shotguns and AR style firearms. They may also obtain certifications in Baton, Taser, Handcuffs and Pepper Spray.

As a security company, we perform extensive background checks on every officer through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security-Data Base and the National Sex Offender Registry. All officers are drug/alcohol tested before employment and we conduct random drug/alcohol testing throughout the year.

Each officer is trained for the individual needs of each client. Our officers complete Active Shooter and De-Escalation training. Ongoing training include law updates and firearm proficiency with range time. We add in house training as needed.
